Eye the eye shadows of today

Pastel eye makeup has come back into fashion trend. If you don’t want to go with allover color on your eye lids, you can try a pink or neutral eye shadow with blue pastel eyeliner, courtesy of any of easy to wear blue eye shadows. Contrary to popular myth, there actually IS a blue eye shadow for everyone. If you have fair skin or light eyes, choose a powder blue or aqua. For deeper skin tones and eye colors like Rihanna and Beyonce, opt for a sheer indigo or royal blue eye shadow. If you just experiment a little, you will see that you can achieve a beautiful look with blue eye shadow.

Every eye color looks glorious in nude, flesh, and peachy shades of eye shadow. These shades look great when worn along with a dark eye pencil such a moss green or a dark turquoise blue. Gone are the vibrant colors and eye popping shades of eye shadow. Instead, pale browns, ivories, grays, tans, and other natural colors are all the rage. Lip shades are also a bit more subdued, with a nude lip or a sheer pink gloss being incredibly hot. One of the hottest makeup trends this summer is glittery gold eye shadow. Neutral browns, buffs, taupes and fawns needn’t be the only shades of eye shadow you brighten your eye lids with. I’ve spotted coordinating eye shadow looks on a variety of this season’s runways. All of these looks are heightened by the accent color of matching makeup.
