How to Correctly Cover Under Eye Circles

final_pic_2Seems like everytime I have an important event, the morning of all the stress hits me at once and leaves me with god awful under eye circles. Covering up these can be tricky, but with the right tools you can get rid of them.

Instructions

Things You’ll Need:

  • yellow based concealer
  • makeup sponge
  • cool water
  1. Step 1

Choose a concealer with emollient and one that has a yellow tint to it. Emollient helps the concealer slide on easier, while the yellow tint will help hide imperfections better.

  2. Step 2

Always wash your face before applying any makeup to make sure you have a clean surface to work with. Splash a little cool water around your eyes, so if you have puffiness along with your dark circles, this will help reduce the puffiness.

  3. Step 3

Apply your concealer under the eye using soft dabs from a makeup sponge. Be sure not to rub, as this can irritate the eye even more causing puffiness. Apply more as needed until the dark spots under the eye are concealed.

  4. Step 4

Now you can continue with your regualr makeup routine, adding whatever you like.
