Correct Your Nail Extensions

Correct Your Nail ExtensionsSometimes it seems that nail extensions cover up all nail problems, like ridges or thickening.

But do extensions really help to solve these long-time nail problems forever?

I was curious and decided to try it myself. But the result actually turned out not to be as perfect as I had thought. The first two weeks my nails were flawless. They were longer, smoother and everybody kept on admiring my slender fingers and my refined long nails. I enjoyed watching them every single day.

But then the worst part came. Three weeks after I had applied the nail extensions, my natural nails apparently started to grow from their bottom roots. Suddenly I noticed that a visible strip between my natural nail and the artificial one had appeared. The strip was as plain as the nose on your face. It was impossible not to notice it even with the naked eye.

As a result, my nails grew softer and became too fragile. I was in a stress because they were on the verge of breaking.

So, I turned to a specialist to solve the problem. He recommended me to do nail correction once every two to three weeks. The method was very simple: the regrown parts of the nails should be filled with special acrylic nail products. These products were the same that had been used for the initial extension.

The procedure lasted over half an hour. And after the procedure the manicure design and the color of my nails didn’t change at all. The correction really helped to prevent the emergence of the strip on my nails, fix their length and bring their original form back again.

So, your nail extensions always need good care and constant correction. Make sure you consult specialists in professional nail care.
