Steps
Choose a sport that you are most comfortable with.
Complete the tutorial, it will help you when you start the actual work out.
Start your game.
Do all of the movements using all of your body, even though it is a video game, we are trying to burn as many calories as possible.
Exercise for extended periods of time, until you break a sweat. At this point you know your burning calories.
Try giving the sport your all, just as if you were in a work-out gym. This will get you heart beating and you will not only be working out your body, but your heart will get a good work out too.
Start to wind down as soon as you start to feel tired. Exercise in a less vigorous manner and slowly end your work-out.
Walk in place for about a minute before turning the game off. This will help your body and heart get back to it’s usual pace.
Tips
Use comfortable clothing when working out, i.e. gym shoes, loose clothing, breathable material.
Stick to a plan, try 3 days a week at first and increase your workout as you feel comfortable.
Always eat a snack about 1/2 hour before work out.
