Do you always find yourself with nothing to do on weekends, now that you’ve grown out of playing with toys? This article tells you some fun things you can do and how to beat boredom! Steps
“Find out what your friends are doing”. You could phone up your friends and go shopping or do something fun that you like to do together. Two heads are better than one.
“Join clubs”. Look on the internet or ask people at your school if there’s any local clubs that you can join. You’ll make loads of new friends, or your own friends can join too. It also means you’ll have a new interest. Wether it’s an art club, or a dance club, it will keep you busy.
“Get baking”. If you love eating and would like to make a delicious snack, baking is perfect. There’s tons of recipes. You can buy a cookbook or look online for thousands of recipes, such as cookies, cupcakes, brownies…there’s lots of things you can make.
“Throw a party or a sleepover” Invite all your friends round and tell them to bring CD’s or a movie you could all watch. Make sure you have snacks, or bake some snacks together. Your sleepover could be themed. You might all have to dress up as your favourite celebrity or it could be a wild west theme, or you could throw a spa sleepover where you give eachother makeovers.
“Find good websites”. Type in the google search bar The Impossible Quiz. It’s a quiz qith 100 and something questions, but you only have 3 lives. You’ll love it if you’re bored. You could also type in Chat Bazaar. It’s a non registration chat room.
“Write fanfiction”. Have you ever read a book and thought that the ending was bogus, or that in some way it just should have been different? Well, then make it different! Write your own version of what you think should have happened. Or maybe you could even write the sequel that never was! Or even your own book!
“Go for a walk”.
Tips
Spend time with your family as well.
Treat yourself occasionally. Go to the cinemas, or go ice-skating. Do something you enjoy.
Warnings
Don’t spend all of your time on the internet.
Make sure you have permission from your parents before baking or throwing a sleepover.
If you don’t like a club you have joined, don’t feel that you have to carry on with it, even though you just started. Be smart enough to say it’s just not me.
If your friends are busy, don’t force them to go out with you somewhere.
